About Shannon
“Have you ever thought “How did I end up here?” There are times in our lives when we may feel lost, alone, or stuck, not knowing where to turn and encountering emotions we are not sure how to handle.”
Whether you have a specific hurdle you wish to address or are struggling with issues such as anxiety, addiction, loss, or life transitions, my goal is to partner with you and provide a safe, supportive place where you can feel seen, heard, and understood.
I utilize an integrated approach to therapy that includes various modalities such as person-centered therapy, strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. I have been in the helping profession for 30 years and have over 18 years of experience working in the field of substance use disorders.
When I am not working you will most likely find me tending to my “mini farm” of animals that includes geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys, goats, a miniature horse, a peacock named George, a pot-bellied pig and our three spoiled dogs. I enjoy reading, crocheting, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
